If you want to use the full power of JW Player™ Pro from Longtail Video on a non-Joomla site, that is perfectly possible.
The famous JW Media™ Pro from Longtail Video, is developed by Jeroen Wijering, and it has a whole range of features you do not find in any other video player.
In fact, this player was originally developed for YouTube. If your site is not based on Joomla, you can perfectly use the player on its own by writing your own routine in code of simply by writing the embedding code by hand in the html page(s). There is a bit of a learning curve, but we found a great article for you to get started.
